Additional Info:

Zion United Church Cemetery is located in Marmora Township in the hamlet of Malone.  Originally a Methodist Church and burial ground, the present structure was built in 1884 at the union of the various Methodist denominations.  The name Zion United was given in 1925 a the formation of the United Church of Canada.  This is an active cemetery, operating under a local community board.  Additional property, which is the new section, was donated in 1985 by Mrs Elizabeth Reid.  The oldest surviving monument is that of James Wiley who died April 18, 1843.  The building occasionally operates under St.  Andrew's United Church in Marmora.
