Additional Info:

Initial record taken from a transcription by Edna Barrowclough in 1975.  Updated from B. Muldrew's plot map (1960s) and funeral notices by John Smith.  The cemetery was photographed and updated Oct 2020 by Ron Smith.

Stones are marked in approximate rows, starting in south west corner, but no alignment had been made so they must have been in different positions on the lots.  A baby had been interred near a large tree at the west side in the summer of 1975, no stone erected yet.

Located west of stones 1 - 3, a large lot contained eleven children and their parents, some of them lost in a house fire.

Cemetery is about square, one acre in size.

Archibald Trew gave the deed to the trustees of the Oak Hill Presbyterian Church in 1853, presumably for the land.  The church was taken down about 1920, but had been closed previously.

Cemetery is not in perpetuity, is still in use, and cared for by the family on the adjoining farm as a labour of love, and is well kept.
