Born Bancroft ON; died Belleville ON. Son of Louis Thomas Hutt (1906-1983) and Rose Plunkett (1911-1955). At five years of age, John, his brother Dennis, and sister Elsie were taken by Children's Aid. John was fostered by Lilly Grizzella (Tufts) and George Wilson Palmateer of Tweed ON.
