Additional Info:

This cemetery was opened about 1836 and now serves all Protestant denominations but primarily the United Church of Canada.  It is on land once owned by the Gardiner family, who lived in the house beside the cemetery.

This record was transcribed and edited by members of the Kawartha Branch of the OGS in 1989.  The records were updated from the Cavan Parish Register for the years 1876 - 1912 by Ron Smith in March 1999.  Updated to September 1995 from a record supplied by June James of the Kawartha Branch of the OGS in March 2004.  The record was updated from a site check by the Lakeshore Genealogical Society in June 2004 and from the "Record of Interments" in June 2004 by Ron Smith, which added an additional 300 records.  The individual file notes list places as where lived but some are probably the place where the person died.

It is located on Cty.  Rd.  #10 between Hwy.  #115 and Millbrook.
