Arthur Reginald Harold "Reg" Hewton was born on January 31, 1940 in Consecon, Ontario. His parents were Arthur Henry Hewton & Jean Rose Young who are buried in Carrying Place Annex Cemetery. Reg married Edna Louise Elizabeth Shanks on October 7, 1961 in Whitby, Ontario and they were the parents of Shannon and Shawn. Reg was a retired member of the Canadian Auto Workers (CAW) Local 222. He died on June 25, 2012 at the Kingston General Hospital in Kingston at the age of 72.
