Robert Rodger "Ross" Weaver was born on May 8, 1888 in Gardenville, Ontario. His parents were Hiram Percy Weaver (buried in an unmarked grave in Oshawa Union Cemetery in Oshawa, Ontario) & Altha Elizabeth Chase (buried in the plot next to Ross here at Carrying Place). Ross married Gladys Jane Hicks on June 30, 1919 in Trenton, Ontario. Gladys died in 1980 and is buried in Glenwood Cemetery in Picton, Ontario with her parents Byron & Ida Hicks. Gladys & Ross were the parents of Morley Elwood Weaver (buried in Glenwood Cemetery in Picton); Barbara Denise Weaver (buried in Chesley Cemetery in Chesley, Ontario); Denelda Pearl Weaver (buried in Glenwood Cemetery in Picton); Harold Burrell "Harry" Weaver (Cremated) and Robert Russell Weaver (Cremated). Ross died on April 13, 1987 at the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital in Picton, Ontario at the age of 98.
