Notes

Edith Sargent Montgomery was born on July 25, 1917 in Murray Township (Now Trenton), Ontario. Her parents were Robert James Montgomery and Lillian Sargent who are both buried in Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens in Whitby, Ontario. Edith married William David Hanthorn on September 21, 1935 in Belleville, Ontario. William and Edith were the parents of Robert, William, Ellen & Gayle. Edith died on January 3, 2007 at the Applefest Lodge in Brighton, Ontario at the age of 89.
