Notes

Vera Gladys Spencer was born on July 24, 1903 in Consecon, Ontario. She was one of six children born to Samuel Denis Spencer & Amanda "Mandy" Smith. Her parents are buried here in the same row in Carrying Place Cemetery as Vera & her husband George. Vera married George Allan La Rue on September 5, 1925 in Consecon, Ontario. George & Vera never had any children and lived in Consecon for many years. Vera died on January 14, 1982 at the Trenton Memorial Hospital in Trenton, Ontario at the age of 78.

Inscription: La Rue / George A. La Rue / 1904 - 1977 / His Beloved Wife / Vera G. Spencer / 1903 - 1982.
