Notes

Selim Russel Young was born on December 27, 1865 in Ameliasburgh Township of Prince Edward County, Ontario. His parents were Aaron Young (buried in Ridge Lawn Cemetery in Cheektowaga, New York, USA) & Hannah Maria Chase (buried here in Carrying Place Cemetery in Row 5). Selim married Elizabeth Ann Sargent on May 17, 1895 in Limerick Township of Hastings County, Ontario. Elizabeth & Selim were the parents of Selim Russell (buried in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Buffalo, New York, USA); Blanche Marie Young (buried here in Carrying Place Cemetery also in Row 14); Nancy Alberta Young (buried in Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens in Whitby, Ontario); and Jean Elizabeth Young whose burial location is unknown. Selim died on May 16, 1952 at the Kingston General Hospital in Kingston, Ontario at the age of 86.
