Notes

Wilford Herbert La Rue was born on October 7, 1902 at the Belleville General Hospital in Belleville, Ontario. His parents were Samuel Herbert La Rue & Mary Catherine Cousins who are buried in Riverview Cemetery in Shannonville, Ontario. Wilford married Nettie May Spencer on June 3, 1925 in Consecon, Ontario. They were the parents of Barbara, Jack, David & an infant daughter who died in 1927 and is buried here in Carrying Place Cemetery. Wilford was a self employed commercial fisherman and a member of the Consecon United Church. He and his wife resided in Consecon for over 20 years. Wilford died suddenly on April 25, 1960 at the Trenton Memorial Hospital at the age of 57.
